Kitty Amour Placement Process
Because we produce a limited number of litters each year, each release follows a clearly structured process designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and thoughtful placement.
1. Join the Interest List
Receive announcements of planned pairings and upcoming litters.
2. Apply for Pre-Approval (Optional)
Approved families receive early developmental updates and photos as kittens grow.
3. Scheduled Release Day
Kittens are introduced at a predetermined date and time.
4. Reservation Deposit
Pre-approved families may place a $600 reservation deposit when the release window opens.
Reservations are secured in the order deposits are received.
5. Ongoing Updates
Reserved families receive communication and guidance until go-home day.
We invite families to choose the path that best fits their readiness.
Families who join our interest list are added to our monthly newsletter and receive announcements of planned pairings and new litters.
Families who complete our adoption application receive early developmental updates as kittens grow. This allows prospective families time to observe personalities and begin considering their preferences before release.
